Don't put the contest entries in the main discover page.
Now we are having a lot of great contests and i always love to participate it. But now the discover page is always full of contest entries and there is not much space for the product ideas. I know that we can use the filter, but not everyone will go to scroll down for new ideas every time or use the filter. I notice with my previous projects that most of the supporters comes in the first few days after submission, when they go down the page will be hard to gain supporters, even with the help of social media, unless you build a huge base of supporters at the beginning. It would be great to have more visibility for the new projects, the contest entries can be seen in their own respective pages.
I hope it will be an helpful feedback.

The chances of an contest entry winning if its on the homepage increases dramatically, which is unfair to all the other participants
I would also like to know the reasons why certain entries are chosen for the homepage, because such reasons have not been specified -

I've just made the experiment and here is the current average distribution (October 30, 2019) of the first 50 entries on the home page: 29 products Ideas, 18 blog articles / contests / activities, 3 contest entries. I think the algorithm is now much more balanced and the suggestion could thus be considered as answered?
Personally, as I had already pointed out in a previous comment, I'd prefer to find only products Ideas and possibly contests' fan vote opening on the home page, but I understand Lego Ideas also wants to promote the blog, ongoing contests and activities, which otherwise would only concern those who are already interested in them.

As a user who only comes to Lego Ideas to discover the new Products Ideas and eventually support them (and I shouldn't be the only one in this case), I don't have a particular interest in all that is Contests or Activities.
I therefore agree with all the previous opinions. -

I think contests are drowning out the ideas at this point. Maybe a separate page just for contests?

Yes, they should be separate.

Also it would be great to only shows projects in the suggested ideas pop-up thing.

Thanks to Lego Ideas for implementing this change! :)

Totally! I think that a separate page for the contest entries would be better than if they were mixed in with original ideas.

I agree with 'twiggy9997' and 'snowboarder' at first the contest entries didn't take up much space but after the first 2 contests it started to get out of control. By the time the james bond contest started it became to the point where one of bricky bricks project which was released a few months ago and it only has 400 supporters now!

When the contests and projects first merged and were all on the same page, I was not against this as I could see everything in one place. I have since changed my mind after seeing how much the contest entries drown out the projects, who need that first exposure at the top of discovery to gain supports. So I think there should be more of a separation between the two, you have my vote :0)

It would make more sense to have a separate tab for competitions :)
