Make A Private Message Inbox
I really like the new LEGO Ideas online platform experience, but I would love to see a private message inbox so then Lego Ideas users could privately message each other on the LEGO Ideas platform experience and talk about their Ideas and projects.
First of all, at the moment Lego is referring their users to companies that do not respect their users privacy to come in contact with them: "To contact another member, check out their Profile page and see if they’ve linked to any of their social media accounts such as Facebook, Twitter, Flickr, or LinkedIn. Feel free to reach out to them there."
In short, this is a direct contradiction to what Lego 'claims' to respect: "We respect members’ privacy. For privacy reasons, we do not facilitate contact or relay information to members."
This is should really be the other way around! We do not refer to companies who do not respect your privacy, because we have a private message inbox of our own where your privacy is respected.
If Lego is really about sharing creativity, they should implement a Private Message Inbox. And stop contradicting their own policy on privacy.

I support this idea because there've been many times I wanted to share information with another member of the community.
As long as there's a mechanism to prevent a daily influx of "Support my project" messages, I'm in favor of adding this capacity.

But LEGO ideas is not for chatting...
This is a great idea and I would like to see it happen, but it would require thorough moderation!
I like LEGO ideas but since there is no chatroom a lot of people are using the post ‘looking back at 2018 and looking forward to 2019’ as a chatroom I would like LEGO ideas to make a post where you can report glitches and bugs on the website I you have any suggestions please comment below.
