    Hi MinifigInSpace!

I used my "personal website link" to pointing to my suggestion here on legoideas.uservoice.com, so I assume one can use it to link his YouTube channel (even if, unlike other social networks, YouTube wouldn't be listed as such, it's true).

And as Darren Jones said (although "greatly benefit" is a bit of an overstatement in my opinion), it could very well be about money: I remember Brick Project who couldn't put a link to his site which contained the making of / presentation files of his Ideas projects and free MOC notices, because he also had some MOC notices for sale...

Yes, maybe at one point, following a user had a purpose, but in the 10 months I've been registered, apart from giving an indication of a member's "popularity", I haven't found it.
Your idea is interesting and gives meaning to this tool: a two-votes problem, for my part!

Hi adwind, a suggestion already exists on that issue, with 16 votes to date. Maybe you could delete yours and vote for the other one instead? Here's the link: https://legoideas.uservoice.com/forums/166718-general/suggestions/38069551-show-the-most-recent-submissions-under-product-id

I've just made the experiment and here is the current average distribution (October 30, 2019) of the first 50 entries on the home page: 29 products Ideas, 18 blog articles / contests / activities, 3 contest entries. I think the algorithm is now much more balanced and the suggestion could thus be considered as answered?

Personally, as I had already pointed out in a previous comment, I'd prefer to find only products Ideas and possibly contests' fan vote opening on the home page, but I understand Lego Ideas also wants to promote the blog, ongoing contests and activities, which otherwise would only concern those who are already interested in them.

    CyregO commented  ·

As a user who only comes to Lego Ideas to discover the new Products Ideas and eventually support them (and I shouldn't be the only one in this case), I don't have a particular interest in all that is Contests or Activities.
I therefore agree with all the previous opinions.

Yes, and it could be based on the taste of people who proportionally support the same projects as us?

You can always discuss updates in the comments area, right?
In my opinion, the problem was rather that some people were not aware of the updates, but now that the project itself can be edited during the support phase, the question should no longer arise?

Is the problem solved? Otherwise, had you tried this address: https://ideas.lego.com/profile/edit ?

    Hi Chris,
If you click on "Explore", and then "See all" (blogs), you have the date it was published, under the poster's name.

Then, someone made a suggestion on a quite similar subject here, if you can give her some votes : https://legoideas.uservoice.com/forums/166718-general/suggestions/37120906-i-would-love-to-see-a-way-to-view-old-blog-posts-e

Totally agree: as long as you don't want to miss a possible good surprise in the new entries, you need to add an extra step, where it was displayed directly in the previous version; a " three-votes problem " for my part. ;-)

The general search bar also displays the blog results: by typing the name of a project or its creator, you can easily find the corresponding 10K Club Interviews, for instance... It's not perfect yet, but it's something.
My vote anyway, cause it's true it could be optimized.

Perhaps a little radical and definitive (even projects that are a priori mediocre are entitled to a second chance, right? XD), but interesting idea for those like me who, for the sake of fairness, would like to judge and eventually support as many projects as possible (absolutely discouraging with the "26492 results" to date)!
3 votes anyway for raising the issue.

The solution that comes closest to it for the moment, but it's true, clearly not the most intuitive, is: "My profile" => "Saved" => "Sort by : Recently updated".

I agree, but then it should be prevented from voting for oneself: how many like their own comments to multiply their Socialize Badges…?

I was going to vote for this suggestion, but I must say that after reading Dadski@7's reply, I agree with his viewpoint.

Or just right-clicking and opening in a new tab (but maybe only on computers?)

I'm sorry, but I don't agree with this one: on the contrary, I think that voting for too many projects at a time reduces the value of our choices by diluting their impact…

Then, it's true that you have to stay curious and regularly check out the new ideas so you don't miss a possible gem!
