Make a new badge - Laurel Wreath - for those who have won more than twice.
It is quite frustrating to see that someone has won the grand prize 5 times!
It's hard for those of us who've never even come close, and if they've already won more than twice, they have enough.
Instead of prizes, could they get a badge instead of a prize? Please?
They then have arguably the most rare badge which is just as good, and it gives other people at least a chance.
Thanks!

I'm not going to say anything after this, but, remember, they won because the judges thought that they were best. Think about it this way: How would you feel if they DID say that yours was the best entry, and you kept getting better and better at making amazing creations, and following the judging guideline, and won again and again. How would you feel if they sent you an e-mail saying "You won! Sorry though, we won't give you the prize that you worked so hard for. Instead, we will give you a badge. That's all. You wanted the prize, but we are instead going to give you a virtual object that does nothing for you except exist and give the massive prize that we truly believe that you deserve to the next best contestant. Cheer!" I don't think that I would continue to enter contests if I had won four times and that was the case. Personally, the badges don't mean much to me. I feel like the badges are just flashy and pretty much pointless. (That is just my opinion. I don't know how other people feel.) I don't have any ill will for you, and I'm sorry that you haven't won a contest yet. I know exactly how you feel. Also, the point you made is that they valued the winning entries more than yours because you didn't have the software or know-how to make your presentation as stunning. I understand that fully too. I don't have those things either. Maybe a better way to address the problem that you seem to have expressed would be to propose that they have the judging based on the actual creations instead of the entries. Again, I don't have any ill will for you. I appreciate that you are trying to bring about change, but I feel that you may be trying to change it in the wrong way.
(Also, just a pointer, the LEGO IDEAS guidelines say not to use all caps. I totally understand why you want to use them. I use them a lot on other platforms.)

But, if they've won more than twice - not counting runners up - surely they have enough LEGO bricks/sets? I have a fair collection, but the grand prizes are outstanding! I've been entering LEGO contests for around 5 years now - and NEVER ever ever won a single one! My entry to the Replicate Your Heroic Minifigure Battle was massive, and the biggest thing I've ever built, but nope! Just because someone doesn't have fancy computer editing features means that the presentation is less powerful and the judges don't regard it as highly! I'm sorry - I've been quite stern - but I do think that over FIVE times is a little too much - -and my suggested badge would be THE rarest one that is available NOW. ---Of course, I exclude the LEGO House contest from theses statements---

If they have the best creation, It is only fair that they win. I have not won any. I'm from the same position as you, but how would you feel if the judges thought that your model was the best one in the contest, but all you got was a badge. If someone is good enough to win 5 contests, they should get the 5 prizes.
